Find Relief From Your Pelvic Pain

Find the bespoke and tailored support you need from our collaborative network of healthcare and wellness professionals who care.

Pelvic Pain Alliance Sheffield

We are a collaborative network of healthcare providers who are committed to working at the forefront of pelvic pain management through a biopsychosocial approach grounded in pain science education and whole-person care.

We recognise that persistent pelvic pain and related conditions, such as endometriosis, bladder pain syndrome, vulvodynia, and pelvic floor dysfunction, are complex and often life-altering. Women living with these conditions frequently navigate a fragmented healthcare system, seeking answers and relief across multiple disciplines.

Our Vision

To transform how pelvic pain is understood and treated in Sheffield and the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire and the Peak District. We foster collaboration, consistency, and compassion across our disciplines. We are a trusted, collective voice for pelvic pain care — one that empowers both patients and practitioners with current evidence, trauma-informed, and human-centred approaches to healing.

We believe that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported as a whole person — not as a collection of symptoms

Our Approach: A 3D Model of Care

The Pelvic Pain Alliance embraces a 3D approach to healthcare — addressing the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of pain. We recognise that persistent pelvic pain is not only a physical experience but also deeply weaves into emotional wellbeing, identity, relationships, and quality of life. People living with pelvic pain don’t simply want to “manage” their pain — Our members want to help you live a life that is free from your symptoms' limits, where your health no longer defines you but supports who you wish to be. This shared understanding forms the foundation of how we work, communicate, and design care pathways.

We turn the healthcare system around, designing care around your priorities and not ours.

Work with us

We know that everyone's experience of pelvic pain is individual and the support you need might focus on one specific aspect of care working closely with one healthcare professional or you may have multiple needs that mean working with more than one healthcare professionals will be of most benefit to you. We will always support you fully in whichever pathway you are working on with compassion and non-judgement. We also appreciate that needs can change and evolve with time which might mean aligning with new care pathways to support you. Our care is organised around four pathways that can work on their own or together, supporting you holistically. These are:

acupuncture~relief

physiotherapy~freedom

reflexology~balance

psychology~clarity
